Job summary

Discovery Parks Clare is seeking an experienced Park Manager to lead a well-established holiday park in the Clare Valley. You will oversee day-to-day operations, guest experience, budgeting and asset presentation, while staying hands-on and visible in the guest journey.

This live‑in role includes a three‑bedroom onsite residence and the chance to drive performance across a premier regional destination, collaborating with local operators within Australia’s largest park network.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality, accommodation, tourism or caravan park management.
• Strong leadership experience in a multi‑faced operational environment.
• Current driver's licence.
• Experience using RMS, Newbook or similar property management systems.
• Well‑developed financial and commercial management skills.
• Proven ability to coach, motivate and develop teams.
• Strong operational and asset management capability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with guests, staff and external partners.
• Strong problem-solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and after‑hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the park, including after‑hours call outs when required
• Drive financial performance through effective budgeting, forecasting, reporting and cost control
• Recruit, develop and mentor a high-performing team
• Maintain exceptional presentation standards across all accommodation, grounds and facilities
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety and regulatory requirements
• Manage guest feedback, reviews and service recovery to consistently deliver outstanding experiences
• Build and maintain relationships with local tourism operators, businesses and community stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies and grow business performance
• Collaborate with the wider G'day Group network to share best practice and support business initiatives
• Provide hands‑on operational support where required to ensure the park runs smoothly
