Job summary

NW Group in Sydney seeks an Audio Technician to join our team delivering high-quality sound across major corporate events, live entertainment and performing arts productions. This hands-on role covers setup, testing, operation and on-site troubleshooting for conferences, galas, launches, concerts and theatre.

You will install, operate and troubleshoot audio systems, mix FOH and monitors as needed, and coordinate with technical directors, production managers and clients while ensuring safety and

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience as an Audio Technician in live events.
• Experience across corporate events, arts or live entertainment productions.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, testing and maintaining professional audio equipment.
• Installing and operating audio systems for live events.
• Mixing front of house and monitors where required.
• Setting up microphones, wireless systems, consoles, stage boxes and communications equipment.
• Assisting with system design, signal flow and equipment selection.
• Testing and troubleshooting audio systems onsite.
• Working closely with technical directors, production managers and clients.
• Supervising crew and providing technical guidance.
• Ensuring equipment is safely installed, operated and returned.
• Maintaining accurate equipment and job documentation.
