Singleton Council is seeking a proactive Liquid Trade Waste Officer to join the Water and Sewer team, overseeing liquid trade waste management across the community and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role balances safety, environment and customer outcomes, with site visits, approvals and inspections.

You will provide specialist technical advice, develop relationships with stakeholders, and contribute to continuous improvement of trade waste programs. Full-time, permanent role based in NSW.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Sound computer and record-management skills.
• Experience and knowledge of trade waste and sewerage systems.

Responsabilités

• Assess liquid trade waste applications and issue approvals/conditions.
• Conduct site inspections and compliance sampling.
• Provide specialist technical advice for building/development applications.
