Job summary

Apprenticeships Are Us in Artarmon, NSW is seeking a motivated 1st Year Light Vehicle Mechanic Apprentice to join a host automotive workshop. You’ll earn while you learn and begin a Nationally Recognised Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology.

No prior automotive experience is required. You’ll gain hands-on experience servicing, diagnosing and maintaining light vehicles, with mentoring from experienced technicians in a modern workshop environment.

Qualifications

• No automotive experience required.
• Passion for cars and willingness to learn the trade.
• Commitment to completing an apprenticeship in a professional workshop.
• Eligible Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine vehicle servicing and maintenance.
• Support diagnosis and repair of mechanical faults under supervision.
• Inspect braking, steering and suspension components.
• Learn to use diagnostic equipment and workshop tools.
• Maintain a clean, safe workshop environment.
