Job summary

NRW Civil & Mining is seeking a Light Vehicle Fitter to service and repair light vehicles and diesel-powered auxiliary equipment on a long-term project site in Australia.

You will perform scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs, ensuring safety and reliability in a challenging mining environment, with opportunities for career growth and long-term employment in a leading civil and mining contractor.

Qualifications

• Australian Manual Drivers Licence required.
• Australian/NZ recognised Trade Certificate required.
• Minimum 2 years post-trade experience.
• Experience with Toyota diesel vehicles.
• Demonstrated behaviours aligned with NRW values and safety.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled maintenance and breakdowns on light vehicles and diesel-powered auxiliary equipment.
• Support civil and mining project operations with vehicle maintenance needs.

Job description

As a Light Vehicle Fitter, you will be responsible forcompleting scheduled maintenance and breakdowns on light vehiclesand other diesel-powered auxiliary equipment.

Scope of work:

The works include Construction of HME and LV roads a concreteoverpass along with associated infrastructure to enablefuture mining pit development. Ancillary activities includeborrow area establishment, drill and blast, crushing and screening,site pads, park-up areas, service corridors, drainage, bunds,windrows, communications pads and access tracks, including allassociated civil works
