Moran Aged Care invites applications for a Lifestyle Coordinator at Moran Sylvania. You will lead, coordinate and deliver a dynamic lifestyle and wellbeing program for residents, aligning activities with individual interests and cultural needs.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or working towards the qualification.
• Experience in a lifestyle, leisure, recreation or similar role within residential aged care.
• Ability to plan, coordinate and evaluate engaging activities and programs.
• Strong organisational and time management skills; manage competing priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, staff, volunteers and external providers.
• Person-centred approach respecting choice, dignity and diversity.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate lifestyle programs: develop a varied monthly program of activities.
• Develop individual lifestyle plans reflecting residents' life stories and preferences.
• Promote resident engagement and choice while respecting rights.
• Coordinate staff and volunteers involved in activities and external providers.
• Build strong relationships with residents, families and the care team.
• Manage events, budgets and scheduling for activities and resources.
• Maintain accurate documentation of plans, calendars and evaluations.
• Support quality and compliance with policies and aged-care requirements.
• Coordinate HELF lifestyle services where applicable.
