Job summary

Moran Aged Care is seeking a motivated Lifestyle Coordinator to lead a dynamic team at Moran Sylvania. You will develop and run a monthly activity program that supports residents’ social, cultural and spiritual wellbeing, with collaborative input from care staff, families, and community partners.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, with a base hourly rate of $39.63–$41.14. You’ll be supported to grow professionally in a modern facility focused on quality care and resident dignity.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or equivalent.
• Experience in lifestyle, leisure, recreation or similar role, preferably in residential aged care.
• Ability to plan, coordinate and evaluate engaging activities and programs.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Current eligibility to work in Australia.
• Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate lifestyle programs: develop and review a varied monthly program of activities.
• Develop individual lifestyle plans reflecting residents' interests and goals.
• Promote resident engagement and choice.
• Coordinate staff, volunteers and external providers.
• Build relationships with residents, families and care team.
• Manage events, resources and budgeting for activities.
• Maintain accurate lifestyle documentation and records.
• Support quality, safety and compliance of lifestyle services.
• Coordinate HELF lifestyle services when applicable.
