Job summary

PresCare Alexandra Gardens in Queensland is seeking a compassionate Lifestyle Officer to design and deliver meaningful activities for residents, fostering joy, connection and a warm, inclusive community. This part-time role offers 40–60 hours per fortnight and supports a person-centred approach to care.

The position requires at least 1 year of aged care lifestyle experience, with Certificate III in Aged Care or Diploma/Cert IV in Leisure & Lifestyle or Diversional Therapy highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum one-year of experience as a lifestyle officer in the aged care setting.
• Certificate III in Aged Care or Cert IV in Leisure & Lifestyle or Diversional Therapy Qualification (highly desirable).
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Currently hold an NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement individual and group leisure activities that cater to residents' needs, abilities, and interests
• Develop and maintain personalized lifestyle care plans
• Engage with residents and their families to create a sense of belonging and inclusion
• Collaborate with the Lifestyle Team and care staff to support the holistic well-being of residents
• Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards
• Maintain secure and accurate care records
