Job summary

Estia Health is seeking a permanent part-time Activities Assistant to deliver engaging, varied activities and provide personal care and emotional support to residents. You will help residents feel valued, safe and connected, and you will work Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, in a collaborative home environment.

Join a large, nationwide aged care provider and bring energy, organization, and a warm, welcoming approach to enrich residents' daily lives and strengthen social connections within the home.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering personal care and emotional support to residents.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

About the Role

Permanent part-time position : Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm

In this varied and busy role you deliver engaging, fun and varied activities ensuring residents have their best day, everyday.A key part of your role will be giving personal care and emotional support to residents to ensure they feel valued, safe and maintain strong social connections within the home. As well as providing some aspects of direct care you will love getting to know the personal interests of our residents and finding engaging, fun and innovative activities that keep them motivated and smiling.

You’ll be a team player who:

• Brings your energy and passion for enriching the lives of older Australians into this fun, dynamic and varied role
• Wants to be part of a collaborative team in a dynamic and growing sector where you can make a valuable contribution to the lives of older Australians with your warm and welcoming approach
• Is highly organized, can manage multiple tasks at once
