Estia Health in Queensland seeks a caring Activities and Care Assistant to deliver engaging, fun and varied activities for residents. You will provide personal care and emotional support to help residents feel valued, safe and socially connected within the home.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering activities for residents is preferred.
• Experience providing personal care and emotional support is a plus.
• Ability to build relationships and engage residents in meaningful activities.

About the Role

In this varied and busy role you deliver engaging, fun and varied activities ensuring residents have their best day, everyday. A key part of your role will be giving personal care and emotional support to residents to ensure they feel valued, safe and maintain strong social connections within the home. As well as providing some aspects of direct care you will love getting to know the personal interests of our residents and finding engaging, fun and innovative activities that keep them motivated and smiling.
