Job summary

Mid Richmond Centre in Coraki, operated by BaptistCare NSW & ACT, seeks a Lifestyle Care Service Employee for a casual role. You will create and run engaging activities to enrich residents' lives and work as part of a caring team.

The role emphasizes empathy, communication, and collaboration with staff, with access to in-house training and salary packaging benefits. Applicants should have First Aid and a valid driver’s license.

About the Role:

Tucked away in a quiet corner of the Richmond Valley at Coraki, Mid Richmond Centre backs onto beautiful green scenery. It’s a place of peaceful solitude. A single-storey building that’s easy to navigate, Mid Richmond Centre provides 49 beds for residents across all levels of care. Mid-Richmond Centre is a well-established and valuable part of the local community.

As a Care Service Employee – Lifestyle, you will work as part of a team to support the meaningful engagement of people living in BaptistCare residential communities. You will help develop and implement individual and group activities that reflect the wishes, goals, and preferences of our residents, directly supporting a positive quality of life.

We offer a competitive salary based on your previous experience from$32.61/hr + superannuation + penalties + salary packaging.

About You:

• Demonstrate empathetic communication skills
• Basic technology/computer skills and willingness to take part in ongoing education
• Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of BaptistCare’s Christian identity and promote the organisation’s values through interactions at work
• Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or related qualification or willing to attain (desired)
• Current First Aid certificate
• Hold a current drivers license
• Previous aged care experience as a Lifestyle Officer, with a passion for enriching residents’ lives, is essential
