Job summary

Belgravia Leisure's Nambour Aquatic Centre in Nambour, QLD is seeking enthusiastic lifeguards for casual roles. You will supervise pool operations, ensure safety, and provide excellent customer service to our visitors.

Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, a dedication to water safety, and flexibility to work mornings, evenings and weekends. Current First Aid, CPR, and Working with Children checks are preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of OHS and public safety applications.
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Current First Aid (Level 2).
• Current CPR Certificate.
• Current National Police Check clearance.
• Current Working with Children Check.

• Blue Card.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day pool operations within the facility.
• Ensure areas around the pools are safe and welcoming for patrons.
• Maintain high levels of customer service and safety.
• Communicate effectively with a diverse range of visitors.

The Role

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and friendly lifeguards to join the team on a Casual basis. Our lifeguards will be responsible for the Day to Day Pool Operations within our facility and ensure that all areas both in and surrounding our pools is a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons.

You will have a passion for safetyaround the water. You should be energetic, dynamic, outgoing and fun. You will need outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence to ensureour patrons safely enjoy their visit every time.

Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to communicate and interact effectively with students that have a diverse range of ages, abilities, cultures and needs.

Skills & Attributes:

• Excellent verbal communication skills
