Job summary

Belgravia Leisure is seeking enthusiastic lifeguards for Moss Vale War Memorial Aquatic Centre. You will manage day-to-day pool operations, ensure safety and a welcoming environment for all patrons, and contribute to a dynamic, customer‑focused team.

We value safety, communication and reliability, with shifts including mornings, evenings and weekends. Training and career development opportunities are available within our entrepreneurial group.

Qualifications

• First Aid Level 2 and CPR are required.
• National Police Check is required.
• Pool Lifeguard Certificate is required.
• Pool Operations Certificate is highly regarded but not essential.
• Previous lifeguard experience is not essential but highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day pool operations within the facility.
• Maintain a safe environment around the pool areas for all patrons.
• Provide leadership and coaching to the lifeguard team.
• Deliver excellent customer service and respond to patron needs promptly.

This is a great opportunity for qualified Lifeguards who value water safety andlove working with people,to provide leadership and coaching to our team.

The Role

We are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable and friendlylifeguards to join the team. Our lifeguards will be responsible for the Day to Day Pool Operations within our facility and ensure that all areas both in and surrounding our pools is a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons.

You will have a passion for safetyaround the water. You should be energetic, dynamic, outgoing and fun. You will need outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence to ensureour patrons safely enjoy their visit every time.

Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to communicate and interact effectively with students that have a diverse range of ages, abilities, cultures and needs.

We have multiple casual positions available with the option to transfer a part time position for the right employees. Your commitment and flexibility to weekends and increased hours during our peak operating seasons will be rewarded and recognised.

Skills & Attributes

• Excellent verbal communication skills
• An understanding of OHS and public safety applications within your facility
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as a strong and valuable part of the team
• Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
• National Police Check
• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
• Previous experience and success in a comparable role is not essential but highly regarded
• Current Pool Operations Certificateis not essential but highly regarded
