Job summary

IXOM Pty Ltd in Hallam, Melbourne, is seeking a Safety & Compliance Manager to lead safety and operational compliance across Life Sciences manufacturing. You will partner with site leadership to embed practical safety controls and drive a proactive safety culture.

This role suits experienced safety professionals ready to broaden their remit, coach teams, and strengthen systems across incident management, risk assessment, and audit actions, while aligning with IXOM standards.

Qualifications

Experience in safety management within manufacturing or industrial environments.
Practical knowledge of incident investigations and corrective actions.
Strong ability to translate standards into practical controls and procedures.

Responsibilities

Lead safety and operational compliance improvements at Hallam.
Coach leaders in incident reporting, investigations and root-cause analysis.
Review safety systems, procedures and critical controls for risk-based effectiveness.
Drive improvements in manual handling, injury management and audit actions.
Coordinate audit activities and ensure corrective actions are closed.
Provide risk input into site projects and equipment changes.
Build capability across leaders and frontline teams.
