Job summary

VON Canada in Nova Scotia is seeking a licensed practical nurse to deliver holistic, person-centred home and community care to clients across all ages in their homes, clinics, or virtually.

You will perform client assessments, administer medications, manage wounds, support chronic disease care, and collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals. A valid driver's license is required for travel between client homes, and PPE will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the province of practice.
• Community health experience is an asset.
• Must enjoy driving, have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• A current and original copy of a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Search and Child Abuse Registry Check required.
• Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
