Bega Valley Shire Council is offering an Indigenous Identified Library Services Trainee position as part of its Emerging Talent Program. You will undertake a Certificate III in Library Operations while gaining hands-on experience across library functions, including customer service, collections, and community programs.

The role may involve travel between branches and requires a NSW Driver's licence. Paid study leave and study-related expenses are provided to support your qualification journey.

Responsabilidades

• Undertake vocational studies and apply theoretical learning to workplace activities to develop practical skills and knowledge.
• Assist in the delivery of customer service and information services across Council's library branches.
• Support library programs, activities and events that encourage literacy, learning and community participation.
• Assist with the maintenance, promotion and management of library collections, resources and displays.
• Develop skills in library systems, digital technologies, information management and community engagement.
