Job summary

Bega Valley Shire Council is offering an Indigenous Identified Library Services Trainee role as part of its Emerging Talent Program in NSW. You will study for a Certificate III in Library Operations while gaining practical library experience across branches and services.

Responsibilities

• Undertake vocational studies and apply theory to workplace activities.
• Assist in delivering customer service across library branches.
• Support programs and events that promote literacy and community participation.
• Assist with library collections, resources and displays management.
• Develop skills in library systems, digital technologies and information management.
