Job summary

AlburyCity is seeking a casual Library/Museum Customer Service Assistant to support the Albury LibraryMuseum and Lavington Library. You will handle circulation, reception duties, and provide information and retail assistance to patrons.

The role also involves supporting programs for various age groups, assisting in collection tasks, and ensuring adherence to WHS and company policies. A uniform and casual schedule are part of the employment conditions.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Library and Information Services or related discipline or relevant experience.
• Desirable: Class C (standard) Driver's Licence.
• Ability to adhere to AlburyCity policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Undertake circulation and reception desk duties and assist in day-to-day activities of AlburyCity's cultural facilities.
• Provide information, orientation and retail assistance at the Albury LibraryMuseum and Lavington Library.
• Assist in the provision of services and programs for adults, young adults, children and special needs groups.
• Assist in library and museum collection related tasks.
• Perform other tasks or duties as directed by the Supervisor within skill and training limits.
• Observe WHS requirements and AlburyCity policies and dress code.
