Toowoomba Regional Council is seeking a Library Assistant – Programs & Engagement to support the delivery of library programs and community engagement in the Toowoomba Region. The role focuses on promoting literacy, library usage, social inclusion, and engagement with community partners.
The position operates under regular direction in a permanent full-time capacity based in the Toowoomba CBD, with CBD parking available and a strong emphasis on service to residents and visitors.

About the position
The Library Assistant – Programs & Engagement assists in the provision of programs, services and community engagement in the Toowoomba Region. This position will promote literacy and library usage, social inclusion, and the Toowoomba Region library service within the community.
This position will work under regular direction.

The preferred candidate will be required to undertake a Criminal History Check and a pre-employment medical assessment to assess their ability to perform the genuine occupational requirements of the position.
