Job summary

Crawford TPA in Australia is seeking a Liability Claims Consultant to manage complex liability claims from lodgement through to settlement, while building client relationships.

You will work in a hybrid model with ongoing training, collaborate with stakeholders, and have clear career progression within Crawford's global network. This role offers exposure to personal injury and property liability claims across multiple jurisdictions with supportive leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience managing liability claims (minimum 1 year).
• Strong understanding of relevant legislation and claims handling practices.
• Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and work autonomously.
• High attention to detail and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of liability claims from lodgement through to settlement.
• Assess coverage, liability and claim quantum in line with legislation and policy requirements.
• Investigate and manage complex personal injury and property liability claims.
• Provide technical advice and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
• Participate in client reviews and claims strategy discussions.
• Manage escalated claims matters and complaints as required.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, solicitors, brokers and external providers.

Essential

What We Are Looking For

• Previous experience managing liability claims (at least 1 years’ experience)

• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

Desirable

• Tertiary qualifications in Law, Business, Insurance or a related discipline
