UGL is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade HVAC and refrigeration systems at a critical LNG facility on Curtis Island. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar HVAC maintenance role.
• Dual trade qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Safety-focused with experience in permit-to-work systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative HVAC and refrigeration maintenance.
• Diagnose faults and repair equipment including pumps, motors, air handlers and coils.
• Conduct inspections and condition assessments, identifying repair needs.
• Support work planning, permits, documentation and safety processes with other trades.

About the role

As an HVAC Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and upgrading HVAC and refrigeration systems across a critical LNG facility. Working within a high-performing maintenance team, you'll play an important role in ensuring plant reliability, safety and operational performance. This is a hands‑on role suited to a skilled technician who enjoys problem‑solving, preventative maintenance and working in a dynamic site environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems.

• Support work planning activities including permits, documentation, safety processes and coordination with other trades.

About You

• Dual Trade Qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning with Restricted Electrical Licence.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar HVAC maintenance role.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
• Safety-focused with experience working within permit-to-work systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
