Job summary

Data#3 Bowen, QLD seeks a Level 3 Systems Engineer to support a critical OT environment, delivering advanced technical support and infrastructure administration across Windows, Cisco, Dell, VMware and storage.

Responsibilities include escalation handling, Windows Server maintenance, network and hardware support, VMware administration, storage management and documentation; this contract is on-site with flights and accommodation provided.

Qualifications

• Proven Level 3 Systems Engineering / Infrastructure Support experience.
• Experience with Cisco networking environments.
• Hands-on experience with Dell enterprise hardware.
• Strong VMware administration and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience supporting enterprise storage environments.
• Strong incident, problem and change management capabilities.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Experience working within complex or critical operational environments is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 3 operational support and act as an escalation point for complex infrastructure issues.
• Administer, troubleshoot and maintain Windows Server environments.
• Support Cisco networking infrastructure and resolve network-related incidents.
• Manage and support Dell server and hardware infrastructure.
• Administer and troubleshoot VMware virtualisation environments.
• Support enterprise storage platforms, including monitoring, performance and capacity management.
• Perform infrastructure changes, upgrades, patching and maintenance.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and contribute to problem resolution.
• Maintain technical documentation, configurations and operational procedures.
• Work with internal teams, vendors and managed service providers to resolve complex issues.
• Participate in after-hours support and incident response when required.
