Job summary

Queensland Country Bank seeks a Lending Specialist at the Caneland branch to provide personalised lending solutions for Members, handling personal loans, credit cards and mortgages while building trusted relationships.

The role includes supporting the Area Manager, assisting with business development, loan processing and staff coaching, plus leading our retention program. It is a full-time 38-hour week with potential to work at branches within the region.

Qualifications

• Mortgage lending experience with complex credit applications.
• Experience in the Financial Services industry.
• Certificate IV in Finance & Mortgage Broking.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
• Experience building a portfolio of clients and end-to-end lending.
• Proven customer service with cross-selling products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Understanding of Queensland Country products (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised lending to new and existing Members.
• Handle personal, credit card loans and mortgage applications.
• Build and maintain a strong client portfolio and end-to-end lending relationships.
• Support Area Manager with business development initiatives.
• Manage loan processing and distribution.
• Coach and mentor staff and lead retention programs for Members.
