Job summary

Barossa HillsFleurieu Local Health Network is seeking a Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator in the Mount Barker area to develop and deliver engaging leisure, lifestyle, and therapeutic activities that enhance residents' wellbeing, independence, and quality of life.

You will work closely with residents, families, staff and volunteers to tailor programs to individual needs, promote social connection, and foster a supportive aged care environment.

Qualifications

• AQF Certificate III in sterilising technology is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver a diverse range of leisure, lifestyle, recreational, and therapeutic activities that enhance residents' quality of life.
• Support residents to participate in meaningful activities that promote independence, choice, social connection, and emotional wellbeing.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individual and group programs that cater to varying cognitive, physical, cultural, and social needs.
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, volunteers, community groups, and staff to create a vibrant and engaging aged care environment.
• Monitor resident participation and feedback to continuously improve programs and ensure activities remain relevant, enjoyable, and person-centred.
