Job summary

Uniting NSW.ACT is seeking an enthusiastic coordinator to lead the Leisure & Lifestyle program for aged care residents. You will plan, implement and evaluate activities tailored to each resident’s needs, interests and capabilities.

With a focus on compassion, respect and inclusion, you will liaise with residents, carers and the care team to deliver engaging programs and improve quality of life for residents in our Uniting Aged Care services.

Qualifications

• Experience in aged/community care or Lifestyle program in Aged Care.
• Resilient and resourceful with a commitment to Uniting values.

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide and direct staff in planning the activity program.
• Ensure residents participate in activities of interest and help them achieve outcomes.
• Confirm activities with the Manager and provide timetable and resources.
• Complete evaluation paperwork reflecting continuous improvement.
• Develop activities aligned with residents' interests and capabilities.
