Job summary

Murrumbidgee Local Health District is seeking a Leisure and Lifestyle Allied Health Assistant in Hillston. You will implement meaningful activities for residents, working with a supportive health professional team to enhance lifespan-aligned activities.

The role calls for strong communication, teamwork, and initiative within an MDT. NSW Health benefits, pro rata salary, and up to 19 hours per week support flexible arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a range of group and individual leisure and lifestyle programs
• Correspondence and document management - including deadlines and communication within a multidisciplinary team
• Assist with activities under supervision of Allied Health Professionals such as exercise classes and outings
• Facilitate and participate in diversional therapy activities
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff
• Create individual lifestyle care plans for residents
