Glen Eira City Council is seeking a Centre Supervisor Assistant Team Leader to support the Centre Supervisor Team Leader across GESAC and Carnegie Memorial Swimming Pool. You will provide day-to-day leadership, coaching and operational support to deliver safe, welcoming, customer-focused experiences for members and visitors.

Qualifikationen

• Experience leading or supervising teams in leisure, aquatic, recreation or customer service.
• Ability to coach, support and develop employees.
• Strong customer service focus and commitment to service excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.

Aufgaben

• Support and mentor Centre Supervisors to maintain a high-performing, customer-focused team culture.
• Provide regular feedback, guidance and on-the-job coaching while assisting with staff training and development.
• Assist in day-to-day operations of GESAC and Carnegie Memorial Swimming Pool to ensure standards are met.
• Roster coordination: assist with rostering, shift changes and timesheet approvals.
• Respond to customer feedback and support delivery of exceptional service across facilities.
• Collaborate with Coordinators, Team Leaders and contractors to ensure safe, effective delivery of programs and services.
• Support compliance with company policies, health and safety requirements, and industry standards.
• Assist with service improvement initiatives, operational reporting and team performance outcomes.
