Thomson Reuters seeks a Software Engineer (Legislation) to maintain and modernise data-focused cloud and AI technologies for TimeBase and Westlaw. You will join a globally distributed team and help publish AI-enabled legislation while migrating legacy components to TR tooling and modern platforms.

The role covers data and CRM migrations, SSO/identity work, and observability requirements, with a one-year contractor engagement and hybrid work options across Australia and beyond.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with data migration and cloud migration projects.
• Strong hands-on software development background in Perl/C#/.NET/Java/JavaScript.
• Ability to work across time zones and document decisions clearly.
• Familiarity with CRM migration and modernisation projects.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with TimeBase technical teams and global partners to plan maintenance and development.
• Support migration and modernization of TimeBase content in TR systems and Westlaw apps.
• Assist with code migration from TimeBase to TR tooling and Jira to Azure DevOps migration.
• Support data and CRM migrations and validate systems before decommissioning.
• Contribute to cloud/infrastructure migration and modernisation of Perl-based systems.
