Job summary

Gilbert + Tobin's Legal Informatics team seeks a Legal Informatics Manager to lead electronic discovery, document management, data rooms, data analytics and related legal tech services for the lawyers and clients of the firm.

Key responsibilities include leading the day-to-day delivery of large scale document reviews in Relativity, managing eDiscovery processing workflows, and leading AI-assisted review tools.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience working on large scale eDiscovery or legal tech matters.
• Strong understanding of the eDiscovery process, defensible workflows, quality control and legal matter requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to lead matters end to end in accordance with the standard EDRM model.
• Superior analytical, problem-solving, project management and communication skills.
• Experience supervising technical staff, allocating work and reviewing outputs.
• Ability to scope work, manage competing priorities and deliver against agreed timeframes and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of large scale, complex document reviews in Relativity, including data imports, auditing, analytics and data exports.
• Manage eDiscovery processing workflows, including data collection/transfers, data preparation, processing, QC and issue resolution.
• Lead use of Relativity aiR and other AI-assisted review tools, including workflow design, validation and QA.
• Design and improve Legal Informatics best practice workflows for large-scale reviews, investigations and data rooms.
• Advise on setup and use of Harvey Vaults and other technology-enabled workflows.
• Coordinate delivery across Legal Informatics team members and provide technical support for Court/Commissions/Inquiries.
