Gilbert + Tobin is seeking a Legal Informatics Senior Manager based in Australia to oversee complex electronic discovery, investigations and data analytics. You will lead senior professionals, shape technology-enabled workflows and ensure defensible, high-quality delivery across critical matters.

The role combines senior technical leadership with people leadership, focusing on Relativity workflows, AI-enabled reviews, and bespoke datasets to deliver strategic legal outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in eDiscovery, legal technology or related field.
• Demonstrated leadership of multiple large-scale matters.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication with senior lawyers/partners.
• Solid project and commercial management skills including budgeting and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of large-scale, time-critical matters with defensible and quality-delivered results.
• Act as senior technical adviser on eDiscovery, investigations, document review and analytics.
• Lead design and use of Relativity, including aiR suite, analytics and integrations.
• Own and develop best-practice workflows, standards and quality controls across document review and data handling.
• Evaluate and implement AI and automation workflows with emphasis on repeatability and security.
• Lead Managers, Specialists and Analysts, including coaching and capability development.
• Oversee technical delivery for Court/Commissions/Inquiries and other critical events, including risk management.
• Scope engagements, monitor delivery and contribute to service development.
