Vocus Group is seeking a Legal Counsel to provide practical legal support on regulatory, commercial, and contract matters. You will independently review and negotiate contracts on standard terms and third-party terms in line with playbooks, escalating complex issues to senior lawyers where needed.

You’ll partner with sales, finance, and operations to enable business objectives, create guidance notes, and manage matters from intake to closure.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified lawyer with 2-5 years PQE, preferably including in-house or commercial contracting experience.
• Ability to work independently but know when to clarify.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong commercial judgement and practical risk-based advice.
• Strong communication skills across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Organised approach to matter management and competing priorities.
• Comfort with legal workflow, CRM and document management systems.
• Ability to adapt to new and complex areas of law and regulation.
• Ability to learn quickly.

The Legal Counsel provides practical legal support on legal, regulatory and commercial matters. The role independently reviews, advises on and negotiates contracts on standard terms and third-party terms in line with playbooks, with escalation of complex, novel or high-risk issues to Senior Legal Counsel or the Head of Legal.
