Zusammenfassung

Vocus is seeking a Legal Counsel to provide practical legal support on regulatory and commercial matters. You will independently review, advise on, and negotiate contracts on standard and third-party terms in line with playbooks, escalating complex, high-risk issues to Senior Legal Counsel or the Head of Legal.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified lawyer with 2-5 years PQE or equivalent experience in a commercial contracting environment.
• Ability to work independently and know when to elevate matters.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent commercial judgement with practical, risk-based advice.
• Strong communication skills across varied stakeholder groups.
• Organised approach to matter management and prioritisations.
• Familiarity with legal workflow processes and related systems.
• Ability to adapt to new and complex areas of law and regulation.

• Identify non-standard or higher-risk positions and elevate with clear options, recommendations and impact assessment.
• Partner with sales, commercial, operational, finance and delivery teams to support transactions and business objectives.
• Create or update guidance notes, clause positions, checklists and FAQs for recurring legal issues.
• Manage allocated matters from intake to completion, including status updates, document control and closing actions.
