Job summary

EGM Recruitment is partnering with an established organisation to recruit a Legal Counsel to support its legal function in Adelaide, Australia. You will handle a broad range of commercial, corporate and regulatory matters while advising on risk and business objectives.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, provide practical legal advice, and help develop policies and training to keep the business compliant and competitive.

Qualifications

• Degree in Law and admission to practise in Australia.
• Minimum 2 years PQE in commercial, corporate or broader legal practice.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proactive approach and ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice across commercial and regulatory matters.
• Assist with commercial contract preparation, review and negotiations.
• Support corporate and commercial transactions and property matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis, maintain policies and training.

We are working with an established organisation seeking a Legal Counsel to support its legal function across a broad range of commercial, corporate and regulatory matters.

The Role

Working Collaboratively With Internal Stakeholders, You Will Support Team Priorities And Initiatives Through The Provision Of Legal Advice And Services Across

• Commercial contract preparation, review and negotiations
• Corporate and commercial transactions
• Property transactions and advice
• Legal research and analysis
• Corporate legal standards and practices
• Development and implementation of legal policies, procedures and training

You will provide practical, commercially focused advice, helping the business manage legal risk while achieving its operational and strategic objectives.

About You

You are a commercially minded lawyer who enjoys solving problems, building relationships and translating complex legal issues into clear, practical advice.

You Will Ideally Bring

• A degree in Law and admission to practise in Australia
