UNSW Canberra invites applications for two Lecturer roles in Digital Engineering. The positions are full-time (35 hours per week) with continuation, located at UNSW Canberra, City Campus. Remuneration starts at AUD133,065 plus 17% super and leave loading.

Visa sponsorship is not available; applicants must have full work rights in Australia. The role focuses on developing and delivering digital engineering courses, engaging with industry through projects, and advancing research and HDR

Qualifications

• PhD in Systems Engineering or related discipline with relevant work experience.
• Proven commitment to keeping up to date with discipline knowledge.
• Experience in teaching design using educational technologies and delivering courses at undergraduate/postgraduate levels.
• Experience engaging diverse student groups and supporting equity and inclusion.
• Evidence of teaching effectiveness and high-quality curriculum development.
• Industry experience or work-integrated learning knowledge (desirable).
• Strong research record with high impact and potential for research leadership.
• Experience supervising HDR students and attracting top HDR candidates.

Responsibilities

• Develop scholarly research and professional standing nationally and internationally.
• Contribute to educational excellence and course delivery at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Implement partnerships through industry-focused projects creating value for the University.
• Deliver digital engineering courses and short courses/micro-credentials.
• Engage with students and supervise HDR students.
