Job summary

La Trobe University is seeking a Level B Teaching-Focused academic at the Melbourne (Bundoora) campus to coordinate and teach across anatomy subjects, with potential physiology teaching. The role supports accreditable curricula aligned with professional standards and involves subject and course design, delivery and review.

You will mentor sessional staff, contribute to continuous improvement, and help shape the Anatomy discipline’s operational and strategic direction.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent accreditation recognised by the University and profession.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching and subject coordination across modes.
• Ability to design, deliver and evaluate engaging curriculum.
• Engagement with SoTL and/or clinical research with developing expertise.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and teach across anatomy subjects to support cohesive delivery.
• Contribute to physiology teaching as required and to curriculum development.
• Mentor sessional and early-career staff and support continuous improvement.
• Contribute to operational and strategic development of the Anatomy discipline.
