Job summary
La Trobe University in Melbourne is seeking a continuing, full-time Teaching-focused Level C Senior Lecturer in the School of Education. The role is based at either the Bundoora or Bendigo campus and leads the coordination and curriculum development of the Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and related double degrees.
Responsibilities include course and subject coordination, curriculum design, student support, and scholarly work to enhance teaching and learning.
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in a relevant discipline and a primary degree in law.
- Demonstrated capacity to provide leadership at course/program level.
- Evidence of teaching, curriculum development and subject coordination with high teaching survey results.
- Demonstrated initiatives improving student experience in the last three years.
Responsibilities
- Lead course and subject coordination and curriculum design.
- Provide student support and scholarly work to enhance teaching and learning.
- Contribute to teaching in Priestley subjects such as Equity and Trusts, Evidence, Criminal Procedure and Legal Practice.
- Engage in initiatives that improve student experience and assess their effectiveness.
