Job summary

Catholic Education Western Australia Limited invites applications for a Learning Support Teacher to join the Learning Support Department. This full-time ongoing role commences Term 1, 2027 and reports to the Head of Learning Area.

The successful candidate will design differentiated programs to empower students and monitor progress through CAPs, IEPs and PLPs. You will collaborate with teachers to deliver inclusive education, apply evidence-based interventions, and support student wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience in a learning support environment and inclusive education.
• Ability to develop differentiated learning programs to meet students’ needs.
• Strong collaboration with teaching staff to support student outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver differentiated programs to meet the academic needs of students.
• Apply evidence-based individualised education interventions to improve engagement and self-regulation.
• Monitor, review and report on student performance with CAPs, IEPs and PLPs.
• Ensure a high-quality supportive learning environment that promotes engagement and improvement.
• Provide support to classroom teachers through collaboration and modelling of differentiated strategies.
• Support students and families to foster belonging and wellbeing at school.
