Good Counsel College in Innisfail is seeking a School Officer (Learning Support) to join the Diverse Learning Team. The role supports individual students and small groups, helping them stay engaged, develop wellbeing and social skills, and assisting teachers with learning materials.

A Certificate III in Education Support or higher is desirable, with experience in inclusive education preferred. A Working with Children Blue Card is required.

• Certificate III in Education Support or higher is desirable.
• Experience in inclusive education is highly regarded.
• Working with Children Blue Card is a requirement.

Responsabilités

• Provide one–to–one or small group student support.
• Assist students to remain engaged and on task in learning activities.
• Support student wellbeing, independence and social development.
• Assist teachers with preparation of learning materials and classroom activities.
• Attend excursions and activities as required.
• Support the Catholic ethos and values of the College.
