Good Counsel College in Innisfail is seeking a School Officer (Learning Support) to join the Diverse Learning Team. The role focuses on providing tailored support to students with diverse learning needs, under the direction of the Diverse Learning Leader.

A Certificate III in Education Support or higher is desirable, with experience in inclusive education highly regarded. The position supports teachers in preparing learning materials and maintaining an inclusive classroom environment.

• Certificate III in Education Support or higher is desirable.
• Experience in inclusive education is highly regarded.
• Provide efficient, high-quality support tailored to meet the learning needs of individual students.

Responsabilidades

• Provide one-to-one or small group student support.
• Assist students to remain engaged and on task in learning activities.
• Support student wellbeing, independence and social development.
• Assist teachers with preparation of learning materials and classroom activities.
• Attend excursions and activities as required.
• Support the Catholic ethos and values of the College.
