Job summary

The role includes student welfare and health activities, with possible duties across streams such as pre-school, vision and hearing support, and bilingual programs. Applicants must obtain a Working with Children Check and complete mandatory training.

Qualifications

• Working with Children Check Clearance
• Completion of mandatory training required by the Department of Education and a willingness to undertake first aid training
• Administration of Medications – training to be provided based on student needs
• Health support training to be provided based on student needs (subject to transition provisions)

Responsibilities

• Provide support for students with identified diverse learning needs under the direction and supervision of a teacher.
• Support may extend to streams/settings such as pre-school, vision support, hearing support, and bilingual when required.
