Job summary

NSW Department of Education is seeking a School Learning Support Officer for Bellingen High School in Regional NSW. You will support students with diverse learning needs under supervision from a teacher, contributing to welfare and wellbeing activities.

Role may include work across streams such as pre-school, vision/hearing, or bilingual support, with a strong focus on student outcomes and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Working with Children Check clearance.
• Mandatory training required by the Department of Education.
• Administration of Medications – training to be provided.
• Health support training to be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support students with identified diverse learning needs in classrooms under teacher supervision.
• Provide welfare, health and wellbeing activities as required.
