Job summary

Nazareth School Grovedale is seeking Learning Support Officers to work with Education Leaders and classroom teachers to foster inclusive and productive learning environments. LSOs are guided by teachers to support tailored educational programs that drive student success and inclusion.

In this role, you will help develop and implement individualised approaches, monitor student progress, document outcomes, and provide feedback to supervising staff.

Our Learning Support Officers (LSOs) work closely with our Education Leaders and classroom teachers to foster inclusive and productive learning environments. We are seeking creative, passionate, and committed LSOs to join our supportive school community. LSOs, guided and supported by classroom teachers, are integral to supporting tailored educational programs that drive student success and inclusion.

Working under the general supervision and direction of the Education Leader and classroom teachers, the key responsibilities include:

• Individualised Intervention: Providing support with student learning through the development and implementation of individualised approaches and targeted intervention strategies.
• Progress Evaluation: Contributing to the ongoing monitoring and evaluation of student progress, documenting outcomes, and providing feedback to supervising staff.
