Job summary

Nazareth School Grovedale is seeking Learning Support Officers to work with Education Leaders and classroom teachers to foster inclusive and productive learning environments. LSOs are guided by teachers to support tailored educational programs that drive student success and inclusion.

In this role, you will help develop and implement individualised approaches, monitor student progress, document outcomes, and provide feedback to supervising staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in providing individualized support to learning programs.
• Ability to monitor and document student progress and provide feedback to staff.
• Ability to foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Individualised Intervention: Providing support with student learning through development and implementation of individualized approaches and targeted intervention strategies.
• Progress Evaluation: Contributing to ongoing monitoring and evaluation of student progress, documenting outcomes, and providing feedback to supervising staff.
• Positive Learning Environment: Fostering an inclusive, encouraging, and productive atmosphere that promotes student independence and resilience.
