This role supports teaching and learning under the Learning Support Teacher to help students reach their God-given potential within a Christian framework.

Qualifications

• Committed Christian who is actively involved in their local evangelical Christian church.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and eager to learn new technologies for education support.
• Has a current Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with teaching staff to support student learning and engagement.
• Deliver Tier 2 (strategic) and Tier 3 (Intensive) Literacy and Numeracy programs in small groups.
• Complete and submit assessment data to the Learning Support Teacher regularly.
• Run small groups and maintain attendance, lesson notes, and resource records.
• Assist in maintaining Individual Student Programs and termly timetables.
• Develop and manage Learning Support activities timetable for each term.
• Provide regular feedback on progress to the Learning Support Teacher and classroom teachers.
• Deliver standardised testing and placement testing where appropriate.
• Assist with supervision of connect groups, chapel, and extra-curricular activities.
• Assist in testing enrolled students and support students with additional needs in class.
