Job summary

ELTHAM College in Melbourne is seeking an Integration Aide to join the Learning Support Team on a full-time, fixed-term basis through to the end of Semester 1, 2027. You will provide practical, individualised support to students with diverse learning needs within classrooms.

You will work closely with teachers, prepare learning materials, and use ICT tools to enhance engagement. The role requires strong communication, collaboration and a calm, inclusive approach.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills, including handwriting and typing.
• Ability to work independently across various subject areas and support diverse needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality in-class support to students and assist teachers with curriculum modification and delivery.
• Support students with literacy, numeracy, communication, social skills and classroom participation.
• Provide 1:1 support where required.
• Prepare learning and support materials, including ICT aids to support student learning.
• Support data collection for the Nationally Consistent Data Collection (NCCD).
• Support students during NAPLAN, assessments and examinations with approved provisions.
• Promote student safety and wellbeing through supervision and equity.
• Accompany students on excursions and school activities as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers and Learning Support staff to foster inclusion.
