Job summary

Dandenong High School in Victoria seeks Learning Specialists to join a high- performing, diverse community. You will spend the majority of time in classrooms, delivering demonstrations, observing colleagues and mentoring staff to lift teaching quality and student outcomes.

You will lead professional learning, collaborate with leaders, and contribute to curriculum development, assessment design and targeted interventions for Year 7–12 learners.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expert knowledge of the relevant curriculum.
• Ability to model high-impact teaching strategies and literacy/numeracy focus.
• Ability to monitor, assess and give feedback on student learning.
• Excellent communication to engage with students, staff and families.
• Ability to support school-based professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching demonstrations and observations.
