Job summary

Ashurst Perkins Coie in Australia is seeking a Learning & Development Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract, based in Brisbane or Sydney. You will drive capability development across APAC and support firm-wide talent initiatives for all levels.

You will facilitate programs, design the Ashurst Perkins Coie Academy, manage end-to-end L&D delivery, and help govern CPD, compliance, and study support.

Qualifications

• Experience as a learning and organisational development professional.
• Advanced facilitation and learning delivery experience in person and online.
• Strong experience in designing and delivering learning programs with innovative approaches.
• Ability to embrace change and adapt to evolving organisational needs with pace.
• Analytical skills for problem solving and identifying themes.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating face-to-face and online programmes for all levels and areas of the firm.
• Assisting with the innovative design and delivery of the firm's Ashurst Perkins Coie Academy programmes.
• Managing learning and capability development solution delivery end to end including needs analysis, design, delivery, evaluation and ongoing enhancement.
• Contributing to the management of learning and development systems, policies and processes including CPD, regulatory compliance, accreditation, requalification and study support.

The Opportunity

We have an opportunity available for a Learning & Development Manager to join us in Brisbane or Sydney on a 12 month fixed term contract due to commence December 2026. This role forms part of our People & Culture function and is pivotal in developing the capability of our people across APAC and contributing to firm-wide talent and organisational development initiatives at all levels from vacation clerk to partner and business services staff across the firm. You will be joining a highly collaborative global team environment where you will be required to think innovatively and strategically to manage Learning & Development programmes and services.

Some of the main responsibilities will be:
