Job summary

Norwest Christian College is seeking a Learning Enrichment Coordinator to lead the Learning Enrichment Team and strengthen supports for students with diverse learning needs across K-12. This role works with staff, families, students and the Executive Team to ensure every student is known, supported and given opportunities to grow in faith and character.

Qualifications

• Formal tertiary education relevant to Learning Support and/or experience with students with additional needs.
• At least two years of classroom teaching in primary and/or secondary settings.
• Experience leading or managing a team or potential for growth into leadership.
• Strong knowledge of Disability Standards for Education and NCCD.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students across Kindergarten to Year 12.
• Experience collaborating with families, teachers and other professionals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organisational capability.
• Commitment to ongoing professional learning and growth.
• Ability to support students' wellbeing from a Christian perspective.

• Contributing to enrolment processes by analysing relevant learning support data and participating in interviews where required.
• Coordinating the College’s NCCD process.

Norwest Christian College is seeking to appoint a capable and relational Learning Enrichment Coordinator to lead our Learning Enrichment Team and strengthen support for students with diverse learning needs across K-12.

This is a key leadership role within the College, working closely with teachers, families, students and the Executive Team to ensure every student is known, supported and given meaningful opportunity to grow in faith, character and purpose.

The Role

• Formal tertiary education relevant to Learning Support and/or experience working with students with additional needs.
• A minimum of two years’ classroom teaching experience in primary and/or secondary settings.
• Experience leading or managing a team, or the capacity to grow into this area of leadership.
• Strong knowledge of the Disability Standards for Education, NCCD and individual planning processes.
• The ability to build positive, professional relationships with students across Kindergarten to Year 12.
• Experience collaborating with families, teachers and other professionals to support students with additional needs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organisational capability.
• A commitment to ongoing professional learning and growth.
• The ability to care for students’ wellbeing and share from a perspective of Christian faith.
