Job summary

St Joseph's School Hawthorn invites applications for a Learning Diversity Leader who will collaborate with the Principal and Leadership Team to promote wellbeing, inclusion and targeted student support. The role emphasizes a whole-school approach, Catholic values, and child safety within MACS guidelines.

The successful candidate will lead Learning Diversity, coordinate NCCD processes, develop PLPs, and support staff in delivering inclusive education aligned with the School and MACS policies.

Qualifications

• Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching is required.
• Ability to liaise with Principal, Leadership Team and staff to support whole-school wellbeing and inclusion.
• Knowledge of MACS policies, state and federal requirements and child safety legislation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Learning Diversity initiatives and support staff.
• Develop and review personalised learning plans and adjustment strategies.
• Coordinate NCCD submissions and maintain documentation.
• Support teachers to implement inclusive practices and monitor student needs.
• Maintain strong partnerships with families, students and external agencies.
