Job summary

As Learning & Development Partner at City of Coffs Harbour, you will shape capability and leadership across the organisation. You’ll work with leaders to grow, perform and thrive, manage mandatory training and support onboarding and organisational capability projects.

About the role

At the City of Coffs Harbour, we know that great community outcomes start with great people. As part of our continued investment in our workforce, we're growing our People, Safety & Culture team and are seeking a Learning & Development Partner to help shape the capability, leadership and future success of our organisation.

Working closely with leaders across the City, you'll facilitate learning and development initiatives that support our people to grow, perform and thrive. This includes managing the City's mandatory and compliance based training requirements and supporting leadership development, onboarding and organisational capability projects. Through this work, you'll play a key role in strengthening the workforce that helps keep our community thriving. Our People, Safety & Culture Group reports directly to the General Manager, reflecting the City's commitment to keeping people at the heart of its strategic priorities.

About you

You're a passionate learning and development professional who enjoys helping people grow and perform at their best. You have experience developing and delivering learning and development related frameworks & projects, drive initiatives, partner with leaders and assist to build capability across our organisation. With relevant qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Training, Education or a related field, you bring strong stakeholder skills, a proactive approach and a genuine commitment to developing people and organisational performance.

  • Competitive Salary (from $87,882.86 p/a) depending on your capabilities and experience + 12% superannuation
  • Permanent Full Time 35 hours per week
